The rug arrived yesterday and I was surprised at how soft it feels underfoot, even with the flat weave. It's already been through a spilled glass of red wine and came out spotless after a quick blot and rinse.

I was worried about spills with a wool rug, but this one vacuumed up a small accident and a quick spot-clean left no trace. The New Zealand wool feels really soft underfoot, way nicer than I expected for a washable rug. So glad I picked this for the living room.

The flat weave is so much lighter and easier to move around than my old thick rug, and the wool already feels sturdy underfoot. I spilled coffee on it yesterday and it wiped right off, which sold me on the stain resistance.
